How is the book created?
A personalized children's book is a story where your child is the main character, with their face and even their hairstyle in every illustration. The book is created using our proprietary artificial intelligence, which uses technology to generate a full character from a photo of your child. This means that a photo won't just be pasted into the book, but there will be a fully developed animated character with your child's exact facial features as the main character of the story — on every page. All you need to do is select the desired book, upload a clear portrait photo of your child (from the waist up) — with a clearly visible face, no glasses or accessories — and enter their name and age. After that, our artificial intelligence will do the magic. 😊 Every book goes through a manual check where any potential inaccuracies are corrected, ensuring the final result is of the highest quality. This way, you and your child receive not just a book, but an unforgettable experience and true joy from the purchase.
Will I be able to preview how my child looks in the book?
Yes! Before placing an order, you will be able to review demo pages from the book to ensure the quality and see how your child looks as the hero of the story. You only need to upload suitable photos of your child, after which you will receive a preview with the first illustrations from the book. This way, you will see how their fairytale character fits into the book, what the pages look like, and the overall style of the story.
What kind of photo of the child is needed to get a high-quality book?
The more clearly the child's face is visible, the more accurately the artificial intelligence will be able to recreate their features and turn them into a fairytale hero in the book.

A professional photo is not necessary — a simple picture taken with a phone is enough. It is important that the child's face is clearly visible, that they are looking at the camera, not wearing sunglasses, and, if possible, not wearing a hat or other accessories that cover the face. It is recommended that there are no other people around the child in the photo, so the artificial intelligence can correctly recognize exactly their face.

Is it safe to upload photos of my child?
Yes! We treat the personal data and photos you send us with great care. The photos are used exclusively for creating the personalized book and are not shared with third parties for advertising or other purposes. The data is processed through a secure connection and is stored only for the period necessary to fulfill your order. Once processing is complete, the photos will be removed from our system in accordance with our privacy policy.
How do I place an order?
Choose a book from the Books page, upload a photo of the child, and wait while the book is generated. Once it’s ready, place your order. Follow the checkout steps and enter your name, phone number, and delivery address. That’s it!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank cards (Visa/Mastercard), Apple Pay, Revolut, Stripe payments, and Cash on Delivery.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email.
Please first check your Spam or Junk folder, as the email may sometimes end up there. If you still can’t find it, please contact our support team at support@magictale.eu, and we’ll help you right away.
Can I make changes to my book?
Yes, but only if you haven’t completed your order yet. During the preview process, you can request changes by uploading a new photo or generating the book again. If you have already completed your order, please contact us at support@magictale.eu, and we’ll do our best to help you.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel your order as long as your book has not yet been printed. To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at support@magictale.eu.
Can I receive a PDF file of my book?
Yes, absolutely! Immediately after completing your order, you will be able to download the PDF version of your book directly from the "Thank You" page. Additionally, we will send a copy of the PDF to your email address so you always have it on hand.
Are the stories and illustrations in your books original? Do you use copyrighted characters?
All our content is 100% original, with the specific exception of our adaptations of classic literary works that have officially entered the public domain. For example, our personalized adventure inspired by "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is based on the original 1865 public domain text by Lewis Carroll, paired with our own unique, proprietary illustrations. We take intellectual property rights very seriously. Our platform incorporates strict content moderation to ensure we never generate or print materials that infringe on the active copyrights or trademarks of third parties (such as Disney, Marvel, or any other protected franchises). Your personalized book is either a completely unique creation or a fully legal adaptation of a public domain classic, designed exclusively for the MagicTale universe.

Shipping & Returns

How long does it take to create and deliver the book?
We create your personalized book within 2 to 4 business days, depending on the workload. The delivery time is 1 to 3 business days. The total time for creation and delivery is 3 to 7 business days.
How much does shipping cost?
The shipping cost is shown on the checkout page and is usually between BGN 6 and 8, depending on the selected payment method.
Can I return the book?
Yes. Standard consumer protection laws grant you a 14-day window to request a return. However, we want to ensure your complete satisfaction, so we have extended our return period to 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. This means we can still process a refund for you even if you contact us after the initial 14-day period. Please keep in mind that our books are personalized and custom-crafted specifically for you. For this reason, returned items cannot be resold and are typically destroyed. If your book arrives with a manufacturing defect, or is damaged or lost in transit through no fault of your own, we will gladly replace it free of charge once the necessary checks are completed. If you wish to request a return for any other reason, please reach out to us at support@magictale.eu and describe the situation. We are always here to help.
Where is my order?
If you haven’t received your order for an extended period, there may be an issue with the delivery. For more accurate information, please contact us at support@magictale.eu and include your phone number or order number. We’ll check the status right away and let you know where your order is.
Which couriers do you work with?
We work with several courier companies: Econt, Sameday, Europat, DPD, and GLS.
Can I inspect the package before paying cash on delivery?
Yes, every order includes an “Inspection before payment” option. If your shipment does not have this option, please contact us immediately at support@magictale.eu.
